Reporting to the Deputy Fire Chief, the Division Chief is responsible for providing strategic leadership in technology services for Toronto Fire Services. This full-time, permanent position focuses on developing multidisciplinary teams, implementing technology strategies, and ensuring operational readiness. The role includes oversight of complex projects and modernization initiatives, aimed at enhancing response capabilities.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide leadership for technology delivery and modernization • Develop and implement aligned technology strategies • Oversee complex technology projects and programs • Champion Agile methodologies for operational efficiency • Ensure reliability of mission-critical technology systems
Requirements: • Post-secondary degree in IT or related field • Extensive strategic leadership experience in technology • Proven ability in large-scale project management • Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM frameworks • Strong analytical and communication skills
