At Pet Valu, you will be part of a dedicated team of pet lovers focused on helping customers choose the right products for their pets. This role is ideal for candidates with retail or customer service experience who are enthusiastic about providing excellent service in a pet-friendly environment. You will engage with customers and assist them in selecting the best nutrition and supplies for their pets.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide cashier services for customers at checkout • Prepare merchandise orders and manage paperwork • Stock pet supplies under 10 lbs in designated areas • Perform general store maintenance like sweeping and dusting • Assist in unloading delivery trucks and placing stock
Requirements: • Previous experience in retail or customer service • Knowledge of POS systems for transactions • Friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills • Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repetitively • Reliable transportation for work shifts
