In this key position, you will manage the health and safety function, reporting directly to the Director, People, Safety & Culture. Your extensive expertise will support our Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (HSEMS), ensuring continuous improvement across operations. You'll also play a significant role in fostering a proactive safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage daily health and safety functions across all sites • Provide strategic direction on health and safety initiatives • Lead loss prevention programs and risk assessments • Partner with leaders to enhance operational safety practices • Monitor health and safety performance and recommend improvements
Requirements: • Post-secondary degree in a related field • Minimum 7 years of health and safety experience • Experience with OHSMS and incident investigations • Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence • Professional designation preferred
