Lead Ontario's literacy initiatives with United for Literacy as a Regional Director in a hybrid work model. Drive impactful programs while championing social equity through literacy advancement.
In this permanent full-time role, you will oversee regional teams and lead program development aligned with strategic goals. Your entrepreneurial spirit will guide Regional Managers to maximize literacy impacts across Ontario. Engaging with stakeholders, you’ll advocate for literacy needs and drive initiatives meeting community demands.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and mentor Regional Managers for performance excellence
• Manage operational budgets and program plans effectively
• Lead the development of new literacy initiatives
• Build relationships with external partners and stakeholders
• Represent organizational interests at various meetings
Requirements:
• 7+ years in management and leadership in non-profits
• Experience in budget management and literacy sector awareness
• Knowledge of socio-economic issues related to literacy
• Proven networking and relationship-building abilities
• University degree in a related field Embrace a leadership role that transforms lives through literacy development in Ontario.
