About the Role

Our client is looking for a strategic and results-oriented Regional Transport Manager to lead their transportation operations across a significant geographical area, based in Kimberley . This leadership role involves developing and executing transport strategies, managing a team of transport professionals, and ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. You will play a crucial part in optimizing the movement of goods, enhancing delivery performance, and contributing to the company's growth and success in the Northern Cape and surrounding regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transport management and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive transport strategies aligned with business objectives. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the regional transport network, including routing, scheduling, and resource allocation. Manage and mentor a team of transport planners, dispatchers, and drivers, fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure compliance with all national and regional transportation laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Monitor and analyze transport costs, implementing measures for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to ensure seamless logistics integration. Requirements

Extensive experience in transport management, preferably at a regional or national level. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective transport strategies. Strong understanding of logistics operations , fleet management, and supply chain principles. Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills .
