The Energy Auditor will support FRESCo’s diverse building energy and decarbonization retrofit projects and programs with a priority focus on fieldwork, energy audits, energy benchmarking, supporting other studies, communicating with clients and producing professional energy efficiency reports. This is a role for someone who has a strong initiative, willing to regularly travel locally and who has a passion for making a difference in our communities by improving buildings.
FRESCo is: A boutique consulting firm focused on providing engineering, research, and program delivery services for a wide range of multi-unit residential, commercial and institutional buildings.

The Role
and Responsibilities
- Conduct energy assessments and study site visits.
- Energy benchmarking and related analysis.
- Conduct technical analysis independently and under the supervision of senior engineers/energy managers.
- Produce professional energy assessment/study reports and other construction documents independently, and in collaboration with other team members.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and contractors in person, via phone, and in writing.
- Conduct research and analysis on topics related to energy efficiency, electrification, and decarbonization.
- Support other FRESCo projects and services.
