This full-time position based in Toronto requires a passionate leader with extensive experience—at least 5 years—in the development of AI/ML models directly impacting healthcare. You will manage cross-functional teams, integrating efforts from software engineering to product development. A strong command of deep learning architecture and optimization techniques is essential for facilitating progress in the field.
Key Responsibilities: • Oversee development of ML models in TensorFlow and PyTorch • Enhance collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams • Coach staff on ML engineering effectiveness • Improve communication practices within R&D • Define and supervise ML engineering processes
Requirements: • Graduate degree and relevant undergraduate degree • 5+ years of AI/ML industry experience • Proficiency in Python and key deep learning packages • Experience with attention mechanisms and GANs • Prior experience with FDA algorithm clearance
