About Our Client
Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.
About the Opportunity
· Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close and reporting.
· Prepare and analyze financial results, including P&L and balance sheet reporting.
· Perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
· Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
· Develop management reporting and analytical tools.
· Support process improvements, special projects, and ad hoc analysis.
About You
· Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
· CPA designation in progress is preferred.
· 2–5 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience.
· Experience within a financial institution or financial services environment is a strong asset.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
· Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
· Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
· ERP/financial systems experience is an asset.
