Lead Siemens Mobility’s electrification engineering in Montreal, applying rail systems expertise and technical leadership to the TramCité project. French and English fluency are required.
As Lead Technical Manager Electrification, you will oversee traction power substations and Overhead Catenary System engineering in Quebec. You will align Siemens design teams, the joint venture engineering organization, civil designers, Rolling Stock, and the customer. The work supports a complex tramway project involving rail systems, power supply, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities
Define engineering priorities and allocate detailed design packages Review deliverables before submission to customers and partners Lead technical reviews with customers and project partners Validate assumptions, deviations, and electrification discipline consistency Support procurement through specifications and supplier technical alignment
Requirements:
Master’s degree in electrical engineering Twenty-plus years’ electrification project and engineering experience Complex rail project and system integration experience International experience and strong interpersonal abilities Fluency in written and spoken French and English Bring electrification leadership, rail integration experience, and bilingual communication to Siemens Mobility’s TramCité engineering team.
