Under the guidance of the Civil Superintendent, you will engage in vital construction tasks, perform physical labour, and ensure the safety and quality of work meets organizational standards. This position emphasizes teamwork and the ability to handle equipment for various construction duties. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site assessments to identify work hazards
- Prepare and set up construction areas effectively
- Handle and place materials as outlined in plans
- Support concrete work and assist skilled tradespeople
- Operate necessary lightweight machinery safely
- 3-5 years in the construction field preferred
- Must hold WHMIS and other safety certifications
- Familiarity with concrete and formwork systems
- Strong ability to follow instructions
- Excellent attendance and teamwork mindset
