Competitive wages
As a Service Co-ordinator, you will help create a welcoming and quality experience for our guests. You will be assisting in the supervision of 15-20 crew members and running the restaurant in the absence of management personnel while upholding Denny's service and quality standards. You will be reporting to the General Manager. You will supervise shifts by leading other hourly employees to adhere to Denny's brand standards
You will coordinate restaurant activities by observing the guest flow
You will monitor sales, employee hours, and guest counts throughout the shift to ensure proper staffing
You will complete shift walkthroughs and take corrective actions when needed
You will help Denny's achieve our mission by adhering to Denny's Brand Standards and internal policies and procedures
You have a high school diploma or GED certificate, as well as a Management Food Safety Certification
You are an effective communicator in English, both orally and in writing
You have excellent guest service and people skills
You can stand and walk throughout a 4 to 8 hour shift
You must be able to legally work in Canada (as a citizen, resident or holding other current and valid work permit)
