Lead DevOps teams and enterprise integrations as Platform Engineering Manager at UBC Vancouver Campus, with hybrid work eligibility and technical leadership.
UBC IT seeks a Platform Engineering Manager for Enterprise Automation and Service Delivery. This senior leader guides complex information systems, integration projects, and Software Development Life Cycle practices. The position oversees DevOps delivery, production support, and service quality across the UBC community.
Key Responsibilities
Direct scheduling, assignments, performance reviews, and post-production issue resolution Manage enterprise initiatives involving SDLC and business processes Guide integration migration, deployment, testing, QA, and scalability Maintain Jira, ServiceNow, and technical project documentation Onboard staff on integration patterns and core EASD services
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline Minimum nine years of related experience or equivalent combination Experience with software development and implementation life cycles Experience with integration systems and processes Experience leading Development and Operations teams Apply enterprise integration, SDLC, CICD, and DevOps leadership to support reliable UBC IT services and platforms.
