At Walters Group, we seek a skilled Fitter to join our team in Princeton, ensuring high-quality results in steel construction. You will report to the Team Leader and focus on fabricating and assembling structural steel assemblies while mentoring apprentices. Proficiency in welding and blueprint interpretation is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and fit structural steel assemblies
• Operate welding equipment using flux-cored arc welding
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Mentor apprentices and junior fitters effectively
• Ensure strict adherence to safety practices

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of fitting/welding experience
• Completion of apprenticeship in Metal Fabrication preferred
• Ability to operate overhead cranes
• Current CWB certification for FCAW or MCAW
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
