We're looking for an Occupational Therapist who can work part-time, focusing on providing high-quality therapy services. Your responsibilities will include clinical assessments, specialized seating evaluations, and facilitating equipment usage. Collaborate with local vendors and educate clients on improving their independence, ultimately supporting a healthier lifestyle in long-term care settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessments for therapy clients
- Consult with vendors on equipment trials
- Educate clients on mobility and safety
- Document client assessments and interventions
- Work collaboratively with an inter-disciplinary team
- Must be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists
- Experience in long-term care is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Screening required
- Passion for ongoing professional development
