As an Estimating Coordinator, you will assist in coordinating bid documents and conducting quantity takeoffs under close supervision. Ideal for recent graduates with a Bachelor of Engineering, this role fosters growth within heavy civil construction estimating. You will gain valuable insights while mentoring Estimating Assistants and Interns as your experience increases. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bid documents and organization for the Civil Estimating team
- Regularly consult Estimators for task prioritization and training
- Review and troubleshoot quantity takeoffs for quality control
- Plan and conduct quantity takeoffs from civil drawings
- Assist with estimate closeout procedures
- Entry-level position, no experience needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science
- Familiarity with Bluebeam software
- Reliable transportation required
- Eligible for registration as an EIT
