Your role will impact how customers manage Oracle workloads. As a Software Development Engineer II, you will oversee the design and implementation of distributed systems essential to ODB@AWS's managed services. You'll collaborate with various teams to ensure the successful delivery of features while also mentoring junior engineers to elevate the team's capabilities. Your creativity and technical acumen will play a pivotal role in system architecture and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create scalable systems for database management
- Oversee end-to-end feature development and deployment
- Collaborate across teams to refine product offerings
- Contribute to architecture decisions and code best practices
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- 3+ years in software development outside of internships
- 2+ years in design or architecture roles
- Proficiency in at least one programming language
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of software development cycles
