Become an Instrumentation Technician for Sunoco LP, ensuring the maintenance of essential instrumentation and automation systems at the refinery. As an Instrumentation Technician, you will take charge of installing, testing, and maintaining crucial systems that support refinery functionality. Your role will directly impact operational safety and reliability by effectively troubleshooting control systems and measurement devices. Successful candidates will embody a philosophy of safety and inclusion while collaborating across departments to drive improvements. Key Responsibilities:
- Calibrate and maintain flow control measurement devices
- Support the installation of new instrumentation technologies
- Troubleshoot and maintain Distributive Control Systems (DCS)
- Work collaboratively with maintenance and operations personnel
- Ensure adherence to safety and operational protocols
- Valid BC Driver's License required
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Certification in Industrial Instrumentation (BCTQ, IP/Red Seal)
- Excellent communication skills in diverse teams
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads
