Join Canada Cartage as a Dispatcher and manage on-road activities for our fleet during night shifts. Your expertise will ensure timely and efficient operations in logistics. This role requires you to oversee all driver activities on the road, provide necessary information, and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders. Working from Friday to Monday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, you will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to navigate any challenges arising from route changes or delays. Your attention to detail will be essential in delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities:
- Support and provide information for drivers' trips
- Complete and manage Trip Sheets and live updates
- Proactively monitor and resolve delivery delays
- Collaborate across dispatch and management teams
- Maintain organized paperwork for payroll assistance
- High school diploma required
- At least 2 years of experience in dispatching
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Flexibility for overtime and a dynamic work schedule
