Build high-performance distributed systems with Nutanix as a Senior Technical Staff Engineer, working hybrid across scalable infrastructure and application platforms.
On the Nutanix Cloud Manager engineering team, you will improve internal back-end components and build systems management software. The work spans C/C++, Go, Python, Java, Linux, asynchronous network code, and massively parallel systems. You will help manage application lifecycles in software-defined scale-out data centers while collaborating with product managers, designers, and support engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve performance and scalability across internal back-end components
- Diagnose deep issues in massively parallel systems
- Debug asynchronous network code and complex system behavior
- Build software for application lifecycle management
- Collaborate across product, design, and support engineering
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering
- Seven to twelve years building distributed applications
- Strong Linux proficiency and programming experience
- Familiarity with operating system internals and web-scale systems
- Experience with storage, networking, virtualization, or cloud technologies
