Join Combined Metal Industries as a Full-Time Industrial Mechanic focused on maintaining essential recycling equipment in North York and Concord. In this permanent position, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of plant machinery, contributing significantly to the operational efficiency of CMI’s recycling processes. Your essential skills in troubleshooting and diagnostics will be pivotal, as you respond to equipment breakdowns and implement preventative measures to avoid future issues, directly impacting production flow. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems
- Conduct routine inspections for maintenance needs
- Maintain conveyors, shredders, and pumps for optimal performance
- Fabricate and repair components through welding techniques
- Document all maintenance activities accurately
- At least 3 years’ experience in industrial maintenance
- Secondary school completion and welding certification required
- Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance techniques
- Must have valid G driver's licence and complete tool set
- Ability to work flexible hours and in multiple locations
