Advance pediatric medicine with a full-time faculty role at The Hospital for Sick Children, focusing on innovative research in nephrology. Collaborate with experts to improve child health outcomes through research. SickKids seeks a Clinician Scientist or Clinician Investigator for its Division of Nephrology. This permanent position requires a Ph.D. or equivalent, emphasizing a strong clinical research record in childhood kidney diseases. The successful candidate will lead collaborative multi-centre research studies and contribute to teaching and mentorship at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead impactful research in pediatric nephrology
- Teach and supervise graduate students
- Partner with various departments and community stakeholders
- Sustain an independent, externally funded research program
- Involve families in research processes for better outcomes
- MD, MBBS, or an equivalent degree
- Proven track record in clinical research
- Knowledge of clinical trial methodologies
- Ability to engage with diverse patient groups
- Compliance with Ontario Physicians' licensing requirements
