This critical role reports to the Distribution Lead Supervisor, managing a team of unionized employees in a fast-paced setting. You will coordinate order picking, facilitate effective training, and handle all employee issues with a focus on safety and performance management. This position demands flexibility with multiple shifts throughout the week, allowing you to lead effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate shipping and receiving operations
- Manage a unionized workforce fairly and equitably
- Provide operational performance data to supervisors
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Train employees on health and safety procedures
- 3 to 5 years supervisory experience in a unionized environment
- Knowledge of CFIA regulations and HACCP practices
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with ERP and SAP Warehouse Management preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours as required
