Advance your career in electrical engineering with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership in Edmonton. As a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice, you’ll focus on hands-on tasks like electronics assembly and conduit installation. Silent-Aire, a part of Johnson Controls, is looking to hire several apprentices to support manufacturing processes in various shifts. In this role, you will learn to read blueprints and apply your knowledge of current electrical codes while working under the supervision of experienced journeyman electricians. Enthusiasm for safety and attention to detail will be essential to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and build electrical components
- Install, terminate and test conduits and devices
- Ensure quality by maintaining high standards
- Follow safety programs in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate on various electrical projects
- Registered as an electrical apprentice in Alberta
- Related experience is desirable but not mandatory
- Proficient in hand and power tools usage
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of transformers and relays is a bonus
