Become a Teaching Assistant for McGill University's Earth System course, ESYS 104. Focus on course preparation, tutoring, grading, and providing student support. This role is open to graduate students enrolled in Earth and Planetary Sciences programs, with positions available for two assistants. Responsibilities involve creating materials linked to Geology and assisting with student inquiries and grading. Office hours will also be part of your duties, offering direct support to students. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and develop course materials for ESYS 104
- Conduct grading and update grading records
- Support students through effective tutoring
- Hold regular office hours for student interaction
- Answer and resolve student questions
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Enrollment in M.Sc. or Ph.D. program preferred
- Understanding of relevant course topics required
- Authorization to work in Quebec, Canada
- Strong communication skills in English
