Join Woodbine Entertainment Group as a Maintenance Operator to support horseracing operations in Milton, Ontario. Utilize your driving skills while handling various machinery and ensuring a well-kept environment. In this full-time role, you will engage in the maintenance and upkeep of the facilities at Woodbine Entertainment. Your responsibilities will include operating farm equipment, performing routine checks on machinery, and managing emergency situations on the grounds. With nearly 150 years of rich history, you will help maintain a premier horseracing venue known for quality entertainment. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate grounds maintenance machinery and vehicles
- Perform safety checks and report defects on equipment
- Assist with deliveries and pickups on and off-site
- Maintain organized and clean work areas
- Support in emergencies and track procedure adherence
- Class "DZ" driver's license required
- Minimum 1 year related driving experience
- High school diploma or equivalent necessary
- Basic safety knowledge in workplace
- Flexibility for shifts, weekends, and travel
