NHS Fife is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our Support Services team as a Driver/Porter supporting the Child Development Centre. Based at Queen Margaret Hospital, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving a 13-seat minibus between Queen Margaret Hospital and Gordon Cottage, Kelty, transporting children safely to and from the Child Development Centre on a daily basis. Collection and delivery of mail, goods and supplies Transportation of equipment and materials as required Assisting with ad hoc portering duties across the site Supporting operational services within Queen Margaret Hospital and Lynebank Hospital when the Child Development Centre is closed The role involves manual handling activities, which will vary from day to day depending on service requirements. Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniform will be provided. Hold a full UK driving licence with Category D1 entitlement Be reliable, flexible and able to work independently Demonstrate a commitment to providing a high-quality service Full training will be provided to support all aspects of the role.
