Become a Laboratory Assistant at ALS, supporting critical lab operations with sample analysis and preparation. This hands-on role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
As a Laboratory Assistant at ALS, you will assist with essential laboratory tasks including sample weighing, organization, and analysis. Your responsibilities may include performing specific gravity analysis, maintaining inventory records, and cleaning lab equipment. You will work closely with supervisors to ensure adherence to safety regulations while supporting a team-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Weigh and organize client samples efficiently
• Clean and maintain lab equipment to standard
• Perform inventory counts and maintain records
• Execute specific gravity, moisture, and density analyses
• Train new staff in routine procedures
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Science preferred
• Minimum of 6 months laboratory experience required
• Strong analytical and mechanical skills
• Intermediate English communication and computer skills
