Program Director at PLASP Child Care

Lead the Before and After School Program at PLASP Child Care in North York, Ontario. This role requires an RECE registration and focuses on creating a nurturing environment for children. As a Program Director at PLASP Child Care Services, you will supervise staff, develop engaging activities, and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines. Your primary mission is to foster a safe and stimulating atmosphere for children aged up to 12 years. This position also includes budgeting for food and managing supplies effectively. Key Responsibilities:

• Establish a safe, warm, and caring program environment
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for children
• Budget and prepare nutritious meals based on Canada Food Guide
• Supervise and train staff, volunteers, and students
• Manage all program administration and compliance tasks

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in childcare supervision
• ECE degree/diploma and RECE registration required
• Valid Standard First Aid Certificate with level C CPR
• Criminal Reference Check – Vulnerable Sector needed
• Knowledge of CCEYA and Licensing requirements
