Design embedded software and firmware systems at Future Electronics in a hybrid workplace, using C/C++ and Linux Board Support Packages.
The System Design Specialist – Software/Firmware supports cross-functional engineering teams and key customers. You will apply engineering design and management experience to prioritize responsibilities and projects. The work includes embedded software, firmware, device drivers, microcontrollers, and board bring-up.
Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed system and subsystem design analysis Support hardware, software, firmware, and development tools Provide technical support for supplier New Product Introductions Develop application notes and technical sales aids Manage outsourced and globally assigned project tasks
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering Two to five years developing Linux Board Support Packages Two to five years of C/C++ experience Board bring-up using NXP i.
MX Board Support Packages Experience with STM32, Renesas, NXP, or other microcontrollers Apply embedded design, C/C++, Linux, and firmware expertise while supporting Future Electronics customers, suppliers, and engineering teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
