In this critical role, you will guide RFA Financial's tax strategy, ensuring compliance and enhancing tax efficiency. With 3 to 5 years of experience, you’ll prepare tax documentation and provide insights on tax implications for strategic business initiatives. Your leadership will facilitate collaboration across finance and legal teams to navigate tax challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the preparation and review of tax workbooks
• Manage compliance for indirect taxes like GST/HST
• Offer tax-related forecasts and business advisory
• Collaborate effectively with external tax advisors
• Monitor legislative developments and company impacts
Requirements:
• CPA designation and completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Program
• 3 to 5 years’ progressive tax experience
• Strong grasp of Canadian tax laws
• Experience in the real estate space preferred
• Excellent project management and communication skills In this strategic role, your expertise will play a pivotal part in RFA Financial’s future growth.
