Warehouse Logistics Specialist at Gx Berlin, Ohio, supporting material handling, shipping, inventory control, and ERP transactions across warehouse operations.
This Warehouse Specialist supports PPP NA warehouse activities, including receiving, inspection, storage, distribution, and production supply. The work combines shipping documentation, carrier coordination, forklift operation, inventory accuracy, and material traceability. Success requires attention to safety, quality, organization, and communication across Operations, Production, Quality, and Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, store, and distribute materials and finished goods
- Prepare orders, packaging, labels, documents, and bills of lading
- Process inventory transactions, cycle counts, and physical inventories
- Coordinate carrier pickups, freight activities, and truck loading
- Operate forklifts and authorized material-handling equipment safely
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One year of relevant experience preferred
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- Basic computer, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 56 pounds and move 200-pound loads
