Analyze drilling data and optimize operations with Pason as a Drilling Optimization Engineer based in Calgary, supporting automation and KPI applications.
This engineer collaborates with Account Managers, product managers, R&D, and clients. The work combines drilling analysis, technical recommendations, KPI reporting, and product troubleshooting. It supports continuous improvement across drilling automation, mud management, and related Pason products.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor drilling automation and mud management product trials Analyze data to develop KPIs, visualizations, reports, and presentations Collaborate on product development and customer-driven improvements Troubleshoot customer issues involving automation and KPI products Support account teams by identifying product value opportunities
Requirements:
Five or more years in the oil and gas industry At least two years of drilling experience At least one year of field experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field EIT or P.
Eng. license, or ability to obtain Bring drilling mechanics, analytical reporting, and technical communication skills to improve Pason product performance and client operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
