Launch your engineering career this January 2027 with MDA Space as a Thermal Analysis Engineering Student. This full-time internship offers hands-on experience with thermal calculations and design recommendations. MDA Space is seeking a motivated Engineering Student for a four-month internship at its Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue location, potentially extending to eight months. You’ll work under the guidance of a senior analyst, focusing on structural analyses of antennas and electronic equipment utilizing finite element methods. Ideal candidates will have completed at least 90 credits towards a mechanical engineering degree. Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate temperature distributions in antennas and equipment
- Recommend design modifications based on analyses
- Select appropriate thermal protections
- Generate compliance reports for subsystems
- Develop thermal test procedures and reports
- Minimum 90 credits in mechanical engineering
- Average GPA of 3.2/4.0 or better
- Course in Finite Element Analysis completed
- Knowledge of Nx software
- Ability to pass security assessment
