Lead the operations at ABC Recycling in Grande Prairie, AB, ensuring safety and productivity within the metal recycling facility. Drive compliance and elevate performance across the yard crew daily. ABC Recycling is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee our recycling facility's routine operations. This leadership role involves directing yard employees, promoting safety measures, and managing operational performance. Ideal candidates bring strong people-management skills and an understanding of industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead environmental, health, and safety programs for staff
• Coach and manage performance of yard crew members
• Coordinate daily operations for efficiency and safety
• Assist in workforce planning and training processes
• Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements
Requirements:
• 2+ years in a leadership role in relevant environments
• Strong coaching and performance management skills
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operations preferred
• Experience with material flow and inventory management
• First Aid certification or willingness to obtain Elevate operational success and safety at ABC Recycling while nurturing a positive work environment.
