Join WSP as an Ambient Air Quality Expert, leading critical monitoring initiatives in Ontario. Use your expertise in environmental science to inform and shape community decisions. As a key member of WSP's Air Quality and Greenhouse Gases team, you will bring over seven years' experience in environmental monitoring to optimize air quality programs. Your role includes hands-on engagement with monitoring equipment and collaboration with diverse teams to ensure rigorous data integrity and compliance with safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain air quality monitoring equipment
- Coordinate environmental field programs and data collection
- Apply QA/QC processes to maintain data quality
- Deliver clear technical reports and client presentations
- Advocate for advancements and innovation in monitoring systems
- 7+ years of experience in environmental monitoring fields
- Relevant degree in environmental sciences or related disciplines
- Skilled in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- Familiar with MECP and US EPA air monitoring methods
- Capability to conduct fieldwork approximately 75% of the time
