Build strategic risk technology at Citi as a Senior Java Developer specializing in Spring, Kafka, and microservices architecture. This is a full-time role.
As a senior technical leader, you will design and develop applications supporting Cross Asset Margin systems. Your work covers Java, distributed systems, relational databases, and API-first implementation. You will also guide engineering activities, strengthen development standards, and support regulatory-driven platforms serving capital markets users.

Design applications according to the overall architecture blueprint Develop coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards Guide teams on design standards and workflow efficiency Plan and execute smooth production releases Coach developers and analysts while allocating work
Requirements:
Eight or more years of applications development experience Advanced Java, Spring, Kafka, and distributed systems knowledge Hands-on Oracle relational database experience Microservices and enterprise architecture implementation experience REST, WebSocket, and gRPC API implementation experience Apply your senior Java, microservices, and distributed systems expertise to Citi’s Cross Asset Margin technology.
