The Algonquin Resort, part of the distinguished Autograph Collection, seeks passionate individuals for the Server role. As a key team member reporting to the F&B Operations Manager, you will perform essential duties to ensure a memorable experience for guests. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and an energetic approach to service across dining and banquet settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests courteously and maintain section visibility
- Organize and set tables, buffets, and service stations
- Take food and drink orders, making recommendations
- Communicate special requests to the kitchen team
- Maintain cleanliness and high safety standards in service areas
Requirements:
- Relevant training certificate for alcohol service
- Previous serving experience preferred
- Strong public relations and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift 20lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexible availability for evening and weekend shifts
