Join Lifemark Seniors Wellness as a full-time Physiotherapy Assistant in Brussels, ON. Support physiotherapists in delivering vital treatment plans and exercise sessions for residents in care.
This permanent full-time role is perfect for someone with a PTA/OTA diploma or Kinesiology degree. You will assist in various treatments like gait training and balance exercises, and facilitate group exercise classes. Communication with colleagues is key to ensuring patient progress while maintaining safe facilities for your residents.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with treatments under the physiotherapist's direction
• Deliver engaging exercise classes for resident groups
• Prepare equipment and maintain organized treatment areas
• Communicate resident status and treatment changes regularly
• Document daily treatments in a web-based system
Requirements:
• PTA/OTA diploma or degree in Kinesiology
• Prior LTC experience is an advantage
• Valid Vulnerable Sector check (6 months)
