Building Materials Customer Service Representative

Deliver exceptional customer service at GMS Family of Locations in Maple using product knowledge, order entry, and professional communication.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will support customers and employees in a hands-on office environment. Training covers building materials for the drywall industry. The work combines customer communication, sales counter orders, computer systems, and product assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent company culture through phone, written, and face-to-face communication
• Greet customers and determine their questions, orders, or needs
• Take orders at the counter and over the phone
• Enter orders using company computer systems
• Develop product knowledge and maintain a stocked showroom

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Exceptional computer skills and basic office machinery operation
• Professional verbal and written communication abilities
• Initiative, self-management, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and analyze financial information
