Become a vital part of Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing's kitchen team as a Kitchen Porter in Blue River, BC. This full-time, seasonal role focuses on supporting meal preparation and kitchen cleanliness.
In this kitchen role at Albreda Lodge, you will collaborate with chefs to prepare nutritious meals for guests and staff.
Key responsibilities
involve maintaining kitchen order and cleanliness while supporting the meal program and dishware management. With a commitment to excellent guest satisfaction, you'll contribute to a joyful culinary experience in a stunning location.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare fresh, Heli Lunches for up to 20 guests
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dish areas
• Coach staff on dishwashing and kitchen tasks
• Contribute to recycling and waste management efforts
• Communicate actively with chefs and lodge staff
Requirements:
• 3-5 years’ experience in a cooking environment
• Knowledge of FOODSAFE and first aid
• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
