This permanent, full-time role supports the Director of Health and Safety in ensuring compliance with safety policies and guidelines.
Key responsibilities
include developing health and safety procedures, maintaining a COR-compliant safety system, and providing guidance to staff regarding safety practices. Your input will shape safety culture, monitor adherence, and facilitate training efforts.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop health and safety policies and procedures
• Implement and uphold a COR-compliant safety system
• Monitor compliance with company safety programs
• Recommend training for mandatory safety requirements
• Coordinate safety orientations and training programs
Requirements:
• Certification or diploma in occupational health and safety
• Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and safety programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Preferred first aid or NCSO certification
• CRSP, CSP, IOSH, or NEBOSH designations are an asset Utilize your health and safety expertise to enhance employee well-being at Champ's Fresh Farms.
