Lead the Before and After School Program at PLASP Child Care in North York, Ontario. This role requires an RECE registration and focuses on creating a nurturing environment for children.
As a Program Director at PLASP Child Care Services, you will supervise staff, develop engaging activities, and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines. Your primary mission is to foster a safe and stimulating atmosphere for children aged up to 12 years. This position also includes budgeting for food and managing supplies effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish a safe, warm, and caring program environment
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for children
• Budget and prepare nutritious meals based on Canada Food Guide
• Supervise and train staff, volunteers, and students
• Manage all program administration and compliance tasks
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in childcare supervision
• ECE degree/diploma and RECE registration required
• Valid Standard First Aid Certificate with level C CPR
• Criminal Reference Check – Vulnerable Sector needed
• Knowledge of CCEYA and Licensing requirements Make a positive impact in children's lives by leading PLASP Child Care in North York.
