Lead freight forwarding operations at Novalink Logistics Inc in Richmond, BC, using shipment coordination and staff supervision skills. This is permanent, full-time day-shift work.
As Freight Forwarding Supervisor, you will oversee logistics, supply chain, inventory, storage, and transportation activities. The position includes coordinating workers, monitoring shipments, maintaining supplier relationships, and resolving operational issues. You will also prepare daily reports and support staff training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee organizational logistics operations
- Coordinate, assign, and review workers’ duties
- Monitor shipment costs, timelines, and productivity
- Track, trace, and update shipment statuses
- Maintain inventory records and resolve shipment issues
Requirements:
- College or CEGEP qualification or equivalent experience
- Three to five years of similar industry experience
- Fluency in English and knowledge of Mandarin
- Ability to supervise three to four people
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory software
