Lead farm and ranch retail operations at Innisfail Home Centre, applying financial literacy and customer service skills. This full-time position requires Monday-to-Saturday availability.
The Farm and Ranch Manager oversees department sales, margins, expenses, inventory, merchandising, and store standards. You will lead employees, support customer service, and promote Central Alberta Co-op branding initiatives. The position also includes administrative responsibilities and collaboration on business and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer department sales, margins, expenses, and inventory turns
- Lead employees under company policies and merchandising standards
- Manage hiring, training, development, performance, and employee relations
- Oversee ordering, inventory control, displays, cleanliness, and housekeeping
- Address complaints, incidents, safety concerns, and workplace investigations
Requirements:
- Three to five years of retail environment experience
- Three years leading a retail department or location
- Financial literacy involving budgets, margins, and scheduling
- Microsoft Office and point-of-sale system proficiency
- Ability to lift products over 55 pounds regularly
