In this pivotal position, the Lead Caregiver manages shift assignments and oversees caregiver performance. Essential skills include strong communication, decision-making, and delegation to create a compassionate environment. You'll also monitor resident well-being while providing mentorship to new team members and promoting safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead shift assignments and manage attendance effectively
• Provide hands-on ADL support as necessary
• Coach caregivers on quality and compliance standards
• Review documentation and ensure effective ISP alignment
• Monitor changes in resident status and communicate concerns
Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED; must be 18+
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certified
• Experience in senior care, assisted living, or memory care
• Strong communication and delegation skills
• Ability to make decisions effectively Lead with compassion and experience in senior care while fostering growth in a supportive role with Sunrise Senior Living.
