Make a difference as an Employment Counselor with Newcomer Women’s Services in Toronto, ON. This full-time role supports job seekers through personalized coaching and community resource connections.
In this position, you will be the first contact for new job seekers, focusing on creating a positive and effective search environment. You'll tackle a diverse caseload, implementing job readiness workshops and facilitating advocacy for equitable access to services. Your experience will help clients navigate employment barriers and achieve sustainable job placements.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct feasibility assessments and create action plans
• Facilitate job readiness workshops and coach clients
• Track client progress in CRM software
• Cultivate partnerships with local employers
• Monitor performance against organizational goals
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years in case management
• Experience in coaching diverse populations
• Knowledge of job search techniques and resources
• Familiarity with online employment tools and confidentiality rules Utilize your passion for community support at Newcomer Women’s Services and help individuals achieve their employment goals in Toronto.
