Key Responsibilities
• Oversee architecture improvements in market data systems
• Create scalable backend solutions and services
• Focus on minimizing latency in high-demand situations
• Mentor peers through code reviews and best practices
• Engage in incident response and troubleshooting
Requirements:
• At least 4 years in large-scale system engineering
• Proficient in languages like Go, C++, or Rust
• Strong SQL and database management skills
• Familiar with networking protocols TCP/IP, UDP
• Cloud experience (especially GCP) is essential Lead impactful change in financial technology as a Senior Software Engineer focusing on market data at Alpaca.
