C# and .NET application development define this full-time opportunity with Minnesota IT Services in St. Paul. Telework is available, with onsite work required at least 50%.
As an Application Developer supporting MnDOT, you will maintain applications for State Aid for Local Transportation. The work combines C#, .NET, Angular, Azure, APIs, and SQL Server and Oracle databases. You will modernize legacy systems and support connected IT services in a matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design .NET solutions and develop C# application components
- Integrate APIs with SQL Server, Oracle, and cloud services
- Migrate legacy applications to current .NET frameworks
- Implement Azure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Resolve application support tasks for MnDOT business partners
Requirements:
- At least three years of IT application development and support experience
- Lead developer experience with C#, .NET, Java, and Docker
- Angular experience applying responsive and accessible interface design
- GitHub version control experience supporting collaborative development
- Clear communication and customer-focused problem-solving abilities
