As a Public Records Researcher I, you will play a critical role in executing thorough background checks, including credit and criminal screenings. Your responsibilities involve communicating with candidates tactfully, verifying their employment history, and collaborating with teams to keep clients informed. This role prioritizes timely and accurate processing to help candidates secure positions.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct phone interviews to verify candidates’ employment
• Research and verify facts for the screening process
• Maintain communication with candidates for information clarification
• Collaborate with teams to address client concerns
• Produce accurate reports that meet standards
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
• Ability to follow established procedures under supervision Support candidates effectively through the background screening process as part of the HireRight team in Ontario.
