Supervise Cargo Handler functions at FedEx Express, emphasizing employee development, package routing, and recovery of service failures. This is an interview position plus CEV.
As a frontline Operations Supervisor, you oversee assigned Cargo Handlers and direct their work activities within station sorting operations. You will mentor, coach, and train employees while ensuring administrative processes comply with FedEx Express policies, procedures, and government regulations. The position supports Safety Above All.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all Cargo Handler functions within the station
- Direct employee work activities during assigned sort operations
- Guide employees in proper package handling practices
- Route packages and recover potential service failures
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and training to employees
Requirements:
- College degree
- Two years relevant sort operations or supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to complete basic and recurrency training
- Ability to mentor, coach, motivate, and empower teams
